BITS e-learning week(4-8Feb):
=> No lectures, tutorial and lab.
=> There is MSN TUTORIAL on Monday 4 Feb at 9pm, questions will be asked and students will have to submit their answer through email by Tues 5pm.
=> Lecture materials will be posted on OLE.
=> Practical test will be on the week after Chinese New Year, test will be based on Lab1 to 5.
DBIS e-learning week(4-8Feb):
=> No lectures
=> Tutorial will be still on as usual
=> Lab session will be used for assignment demo
OOPG e-learning week(4-8Feb):
=> No lecture and lab
=> Lab session on 14feb will be extended by 1hr, from 2-5pm. This is to make up for the lab session which falls on CNY(7Feb)
SAS e-learning week(4-8Feb):
=> No tutorial and lab
=> Lecture will still be on
=> Visit OLE for e-learning materials

On 18 January 2008 at 4pm at TCC, TP under the Youth Matters series will be hosting Minister of State for Education, RADM (NS) Lui Tuck Yew. He will address TP on the topic: “Heartware and Rootedness: What Does This Mean for Me?” Attached is the programme for your added information.
With support from your CM, we would like to invite 2 classes (about 40 students or more) from your Diploma to attend the event. Please send me the list of students who will be attending by 16 Jan 2008. Appreciate if you can help to promote the event and encourage our students to attend.

Please be reminded that OOPG assignment will be due in next week. The assignment should be submitted within the first 15 minutes of the tut/lab session. This assignment makes up 30% of the entire subject.
=>Both hardcopies and softcopies (CD or diskette) of the source codes (.java files) for all the classes in the entire program.
=> Hardcopy report containing class diagrams, assumptions made, extra functionalities/improvements added, process/steps and problems encountered, etc.
(All the above are to be put in an envelope, labeled with your practical group number, your name, student number, your tutor’s name.)
